Tattoo Instructional
I was just a misfit punk rocker trying to make it in NYC in 1998, and despite being in galleries and interviewing with big publishers, I just couldn’t rely on art to pay my bills. On the advice of a friend of my brother’s, I apprenticed to tattoo, and it changed my world. I was fortunate enough to make it in that industry; it’s a great feeling when people stop by my booth at conventions and say I inspired them. All of my favorite artists have been super generous in detailing their game, and this is the second video in my series where I attempt to do the same.
