Day 6 of the Facebook art challenge. This is a cover painting I did for the book "Splatterpunk's Not Dead". You can see they rotated and cropped it, which I've had several UK publications do.
This is the first book cover that I had published. It was for a Pier's Anthony novel entitled The Sopaths, and I used my then very alive wife as the reference.
Never quite happy with the original cover I did for Splatterpunk Zine's first issue (I drew it on a very tight deadline just as I was moving), I just refined it recently for Jack Bantry's re-issue!
It should be out sometime in May.
