Evil Dead

The first Evil Dead might have been a groundbreaking movie for the time, but it arrived on the screen a little too early! I was still a teenager, living in white-trash northern Florida with my conservative, military parents, when I saw Evil Dead 2, and it blew my mind!
Later on, I eventually watched the original Evil Dead and thought it was basically a lower-budget, less refined version of Evil Dead 2.
It’s come to hold a special place in my memory, even if you can see all the low-budget flaws when you view it on a big screen, but it still captures that great mix of horror and comedy while still resting more firmly in the horror camp!
