The Mummy is one of those classic horror characters that never quite gets his due.
As an image, it’s a nice mix of texture and realism, and the backstory is really original, but the character never quite garnered the fame of the other classic monsters like The Wolfman, Dracula, or Frankenstein.
I think the best representation of him was in the Ann Rice novel “The Mummy” and the Brendan Fraser 1999 Mummy movie (for which I hear he is returning).
I did this at a shop I worked at in 2017, but actually only got good pictures in 2023!
