The Masters of Horror.
In 2014, Skin Art Magazine was doing a special horror issue. They asked me to draw a cover. I had my friend Blair Smith, the colorist on The Living Corpse comic, work his magic on my black-and-white drawing. Skin Art, at the last minute, used a stupid AI mashup of the Tales from the Crypt ghoul holding a tattoo machine. They sent me a copy, and I was featured in the magazine, but they never used the drawing, so I put it in my short-story collection, “Down Highways in the Dark…by Demons Driven.” I have a very Lovecraft-infused story in that, and felt it was an appropriate match.
